RLG is a lifestyle blog with an emphasis on life. Besides sharing style posts, recipes and beauty, decor and travel tips, I will be sharing personal things about my life and all the ups and downs that come with that. My goal isn’t to create a perfectly curated blog – it is my intent to create content that inspires and resonates.

I am 28 years old and it’s taken me a long time to figure out not only who I am, but to accept and embrace all of the qualities that make me unique. For years, I’ve been told to chose one of my passions: start a fashion blog, start a food blog, start a beauty blog. Since starting RLG in March, I now know I do not need to choose just one topic. Like most of the women I know and look up to, I am complex and find it hard to be categorized. Oprah’s Super Soul Sunday is my JAM but I also love watching the Kardashians. I live a very healthy life (can’t wait to share!!) but I strongly, strongly believe that nothing makes you happier than eating chocolate. So in a nutshell, that’s what I’ll be talking about…life – a balanced, complicated, emotional life. Whether I am in the kitchen, beach bumming or strutting my new six inch heels, every day I am trying to be a little bit more true to myself and hopefully that resonates with all of you!

About Me:

Fashion mutt. A devoted chocolate addict. Travel junkie. Married with cat.

Mostly Carrie, hopelessly romantic like Charlotte with a sprinkle of Samantha. Once a month I am Miranda.

Born and raised in Belgium – though I have lived in Holland, France, Vancouver and even a brief stint in Singapore.

I don’t have an accent but everyone around me seems to think I do.

Met my husband, Kevin, in Las Vegas. I swore off men a few hours before I met him… Cupid had a funny sense of humor that day.

My dad says I am a walking song lyric encyclopedia.

Mild to severe obsession with my cat, Logan – she is a she, not a he.
